Varied Background Technique

There are so many ways you can help your inner creativity break out during one of our inspiring workshops. One way is to think outside the box and use multiple colors of paints and vary in some stain colors on your piece's background.

By doing this, you are able to add dimension to give your piece an overall unique look.

TIP #1 - Use painter's tape to mark off varied areas. When using painters tape, make sure you run the squeegee along the top to secure the tape to the surface. The better adhesion, the better the result!

TIP#2 -  Always use stain first! The paint will cover the stain but the stain will never cover the paint in the event of a slight imperfection.
